110: Trish’s Gambit, Trigger Finger, Grief Vultures, & Sully’s Plea

This week on David & Stu Unhinged, we cover Trish James’ outrageous holdback of funds from an order of nuns dedicated to charity, a hunting accident that resulted in death, Patrick Clancy’s heartbreaking 60 Minutes interview, and Sully’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Trish’s Gambit: Letitia James, the incompetent DL NY State Attorney General, has tried to pull another power grab, as noted by her office’s handling of proceeds from the sale of the Jeanne d’Arc Residence, a longtime Manhattan home for young women operated by the Sisters of the Congregation of Divine Providence. Although Tish approved the sale, $19.3 million remains tied up as Tish and her team of thugs question whether the funds will be used for charitable purposes. The dispute raises broader questions about Tish’s oversight of religious charities, political double standards, and whether a group that served New York for more than a century should have to fight to use its own money for continuing charitable work.

Trigger Finger: 39-year-old Santos Maria Chilel Soto was walking across an open field in Delaware, got mistaken for a deer, and was shot dead by a hunter, 74-year-old Walter Moorhead. Moorhead is now facing manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges due to his failure to adhere to basic hunting-safety rules.

Grief Vultures: Patrick Clancy’s 60 Minutes interview was a devastating look at a father trying to survive the loss of his three children. He described returning home to an unimaginable scene, holding his youngest son as he died, and rebuilding a life that will never be whole again. Meanwhile, social influencers, most notably Lisa Rinna, a has been reality show slut, have turned his grief into gossip, with Rinna amplifying reckless accusations that Patrick murdered his children, not his ex-wife Lindsey. Rinna and others like her should be burned on a stake for their moral depravity and pay a heavy price for their cruelty. Instead, Patrick’s attorney is now reportedly considering legal action against these disgusting degenerates.

Sully’s Plea: Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger is an Air Force veteran, aviation safety expert, and pilot who became a national hero after safely landing US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River. In a recent interview, he revealed he has Alzheimer’s disease and spoke calmly and with humility. He didn’t ask for pity, but instead, he urged others to seek early testing and treatment. It was a quiet, powerful plea from a man who has spent his life leading by example, and unlike some alleged leaders, he did it without demanding that anyone put his name on a building.
